This is my first attempt and practice to Michael Jackson's Billie jean. I recorded it from mobile and i was dancing without any music. After making this video, i edited it and put music in it. Since it is practice and without music, i can do better than this. And sorry for the bad quality of video. I will soon upload my new dance videos.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypMv26k5Ciwendofvid [starttext] Michael Jackson busted out his signature moves in a surprise appearance at the 2001 show.

NSYNC were just about finished performing their hit song "Pop" when their giant Etch a Sketch backdrop rose up to reveal Jackson. Dressed in his trademark white T-shirt and penny loafers, he did not join the group to sing but instead busted into a handful of some of his signature dance moves while 'NSYNC member Justin Timberlake beatboxed to accompany him. It was a poetic moment, especially considering how much Timberlake was clearly inspired by Jackson. Michael's return to the MTV stage made a big splash, and got the ball rolling on the buildup to his new album Invincible. [endtext]

In Australia Remember The Time was certified Gold with a total of 35,000 plus sales.

Remember The Time was originally meant to be part of Michael's Dangerous World Tour but was taken out because Michael had enough material to perform already.

Remember The Time was used in the History tour as a video Montage Interlude.

When making this song with co producer Teddy Riley, Michael was trying to achieve a new New Jack Swing, which he successfully managed.

Remember The Time was performed at the Soul Train Awards in 1993, this performance was remembered for a long time as he twisted his ankle during rehearsals the day before and had to perform sitting down on the night.

He received 3 awards, including best male singer of the year at the Soul Train Awards in 1993. [endtext]

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/intoduction-history-past-present-and.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5QmuRhnxFgendofvid [starttext] The HIStory album was released on June 20, 1995, and was Michael' a two disc album with a total of 30 songs. The first disc "HIStory Begins" was a collection of 15 of Michael's greatest hits as an adult solo artist. All greatest hits songs are the same as the original album versions.

The second disc "HIStory Continues" of this album contained 15 brand new songs, 12 of which were composed and written by Michael himself. Although the track "Come Together" was recorded in 1987 and released asa double A- Side with "Remember the Time" as well as having been featured in the Moonwalker movie many years earlier.

The second disc of the 'History' album also credited Michael for the first time with playing the keyboards, Synthesizer, drums and percussion, and guitar.

Special appearances on the album were made by Janet Jackson, Shaquille O'Neal, Notorius B.I.G, Boyz II Men, and Slash.

The album was controvercial, with many angry songs - Michael's reply to the press and allegations that had been plaguing his life and career over the previous few years, as well as had a softer edge with ballads such as "You Are Not Alone", "Earth Song", "Stranger In Moscow" and "Smile". Shortly after it's release the 'HIStory' album was pulled from the shelves due to the the controvercial lyrics in the song "They Don't Care About Us", and new copies of the album were released with a formal apology written by Michael to those who may have been offended by the lyrics.

5 singles were released off of this album; "Scream", "Earth Song", "You Are Not Alone", "Stranger In Moscow", and "They Don't Care About Us". The album hit #1 in 19 countries around the world, with world wide sales of over 15 million. The "You Are Not Alone" single broke a world record when it became the first-ever single to debut at #1 on the Billboard music charts.

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/man-in-mirror-official-music-video.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PivWY9wn5psendofvid [starttext]
Man In The Mirror was written by Glen Ballard and Siedah Garrett who did a duet with Michael with his single I Just Cant Stop Loving you in 1987.
Man In The Mirror was released on January 9th 1988 off Michael's 7th major solo album Bad.
It was Michael's only single released off the Bad album not to reach the top 20 in the UK, it only got to number 21. But after Michael's death in 2009 the song was re released in the UK and entered at number 11, the week after it hit the number 2 spot.
In 1988 Man In the Mirror hit the number 1 spot in the US during its 8th week in the charts and stayed there for 2 weeks. It became his 4th single to become a number 1 off his Bad album.
Siedah Garrett can be heard singing in the background of Man In The Mirror, along with The Winans and the Andrae Crouch gospel choir.
Seidah had the idea for the song while on her way to record I Just Cant Stop Loving You, she said she saw a face in the mirror and it all started from there.
At around the same time Man In The Mirror was released a lot of artists were using gospel choirs for their songs, from David Bowie for a track in the Labyrinth film, to Madonna's Like A Prayer.
Jermaine Jackson made reference to this track while in the Big Brother house in 2007 after white house mates were making racist comments towards Asian house mate Shilpa Shetty.
Michael performed an extended version of Man In The Mirror at the Grammy awards in 1988, he also performed the song on his Bad world tour, Dangerous world tour, and also at the Royal concert Brunei for the last time in 1996 for the United We Stand Benefit Concert.
Man In The Mirror was nominated for record of the year at the Grammy Awards.
At Michael's memorial after his death, an instrumental version of the song was played while his coffin was being carried out. An important moment during this was when they shone a spot light on the empty space behind a microphone, marking a moment that Michael was no longer with us.

I Just Can't Stop Loving You was released on July 20th 1987 off Michael's famous Bad album hitting the number 1 spot in both the US and UK. It spent a total 11 weeks in the top 40 chart in the US, and only 1 week as number 1 in the UK.
Written and composed by Michael, he did not have anyone in mind when writing the song, but he was thinking of someone when singing the song live, who though we do not know.
I Just Can't Stop Loving You was written as a ballad and became a duet with Siedah Garrett who wrote Michael's Man In The Mirror. It became her first hit single since doing a duet with Dennis Edwards in 1984 with Don't Look Any Further.
I Just Cant Stop Loving You was originally meant to be a duet with either Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin or Agnetha Faltskog from ABBA, but they all had prior engagements.
On Michael's Bad tour the song was sung with one of his backing singers, who is now famously known as a solo singer, Sheryl Crow.
Siedah performed the song with Michael on his Dangerous world tour.
This track was released without a music video being made.
The original album version of the song included a spoken intro by Michael, it was taken out for future album releases and single releases.

Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal Adult Costume Small

Smooth Criminal is the main song for Michael's hit musical film moon walker featuring Joe Pesci.
Michael did originally decide to do the video as a western, but changed it at the last minute.
The original clip of smooth criminal is 10 minutes long, with Michael dancing in a 1930's style nightclub. The idea of this video was inspired by “The Girl Ballet Hunt” a track from the 1952 musical The Band Wagon, featuring Fred Astaire who has inspired a lot of Michael's work.
This single is the 7th major single from Michael's hit album Bad, the single was released October 24th 1988.
It was re released with Visionary was hit the number one spot in the UK.
In 2003 it was added to Michael's Number ones greatest hits albums.
Michael performed Smooth Criminal in the second part of the 1987/88 Bad tour and at the 1992 Dangerous world tour, where the moonwalk and anti gravity lean was demonstrated.

EXLUSIVE - Thriller 25th Anniversary EPK

The single Bad was released from Michael's number one hit album Bad, it became his 2nd out of 5 number 1 hits from the album and his 7th number 1 all together.
Released September 7th 1987, it hit the charts the same time I Just Can't Stop Loving You was still in the charts. It hit the number 1 spot in the US within 6 weeks of entering and stayed there for 2 weeks, it hit number 3 in the UK.
Bad was re released as part of the Visionary in 2006
It was originally meant to be a duet with his rival Prince. But Prince declined as he thought it would still be a hit without him featuring in it and he was right.
The Bad single was mostly performed as the last track on the Bad tour, and sometimes on his Dangerous tour.
An extended version of the single was always performed live as it was Michael's preferred choice.
Celine Dion also performed a live cover version of this song, while dressed in leathers and head of black curls.
Weird Al Yankovic who had previously had permission from Michael to record a spoof of Beat It, was also given permission to record a spoof of Bad, entitled “Fat”. Michael allowed him to use the set to his own “Badder” video seen in the Moonwalker film to make his “Fat” video.

BAD - Official Music Video

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/bad-official-music-video.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9e6iwbHr6gAendofvid [starttext]Released in 1987 in August 1987 Michael had devoted two and a half years to recording the follow up to the Thriller album , which at the time of the Bad albums release had sold over 40 million records and was the world best selling album.

Michael again worked with Quincy Jones as producer, and they both set out to make the most perfect album humanly possible.

Michael wrote all but 2 of the songs on the album, "Man In the Mirror" a great self message song co-written by Siedah Garrett who co sings on the love song "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" and "Just Good Friends" the duet with Stevie Wonder were the only other tracks not written by Michael.

The first 5 singles from the album all went to Number One in the U.S Billboards charts. To this day it remains the only album to have 5 number one singles.

On the Cd, new technology allowed space for an extra track "Leave Me Alone" a simple message and along with the video gets the message across of him wanting some privacy and trying to dispel some of the ludicrous stories constantly surrounding the now global superstar.

The album has sold over 30 million copies.

BAD - Official Intro

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/exteremly-rare-michael-jackson.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTn22DfCK5kendofvid [starttext]Michael Jackson practiced Billie jean, the night before the taping of Motown 25th, he said:

"But the night before the taping, I still had no idea what I was going to do with my solo number. So I went down to the kitchen of our house and played "Billie Jean." Loud. I was in there by myself, the night before the show, and I pretty much stood there and let the song tell me what to do. I kind of let the dance create itself. I really let it talk to me; I heard the beat come in, and I took this spy's hat and started to pose and step, letting the "Billie Jean" rhythm create the movements. I felt almost compelled to let it create itself. I couldn't help it. And that -- being able to "step back" and let the dance come through -- was a lot of fun.

I had also been practicing certain steps and movements, although most of the performance was actually spontaneous. I had been practicing the Moonwalk for some time, and it dawned on me in our kitchen that I would finally do the Moonwalk in public on Motown 25."

He was truely genius and the greatest entertainer.
God Bless him. RIP Michael.

EPIC/LEGACY RECORDINGS TO RELEASE "MICHAEL JACKSON'S VISION," THE FIRST-EVER COMPLETE COLLECTION OF ALL THE SHORT FILMS PRODUCED BY MICHAEL JACKSON
Deluxe Boxed Set Features 4 1/2 Hours of Content Across Three DVDs Showcasing
More Than 40 Videos In Newly Restored Color and Remastered Audio

"Michael Jackson's Vision" Available Everywhere Monday, November 22"

Michael Jackson's Vision:
Brings together more than 40 videos, ten of them previously unavailable on DVD and each presented in newly restored color and remastered audio. And this release marks the debut of the short film for the R. Kelly-penned "One More Chance."

The simultaneous emergence of MTV as a television force and Michael Jackson's breakout as a global superstar provided the most epochal musical/cultural shift since the Beatles. Seizing the potential of MTV's 24-hour reach, Michael Jackson produced and starred in a series of what would become iconic short musical films that redefined and established the perimeters, and parameters, of an entire new medium.
Jackson's short-form zombie dance party masterpiece, "Thriller," famously directed by John Landis, remains a cultural phenomenon. It recently became the first (and only) music video to be inducted by the Library of Congress into the National Film Registry, an elite collection of only a few hundred films.

Michael Jackson - "Vision Sizzle Reel" Official DVD Monday November 22 (HD)

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/wanna-be-startin-somethin-official.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPTsmswQVwgendofvid [starttext] Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" is a song by American songwriter and recording artist Michael Jackson. "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" was released on May 8, 1983, by Epic Records as the fourth single from Jackson's sixth studio album Thriller in 1982. The song was written, composed and co-produced by Jackson, and produced by Quincy Jones. The song's lyrics pertain to strangers spreading rumors to begin or start an argument just for no reason. Musically, "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" has a cross-cultural disco theme, similar to Jackson's material from his previous album Off the Wall in 1979. The song's rhythm arrangement consists of interweaving drum-machine patterns, while the horn arrangement is brassy and precise. "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" has been covered and sampled by multiple recording artists since its release. Aside from Thriller, "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" appears on multiple compilation and greatest hits albums by Jackson. This song is one of his very recognized and most highly known songs. [endtext]

It is the third single from the singer's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Dutch-American guitarist Eddie Van Halen was drafted to add the song's distinctive overdriven guitar solo. Following the successful chart performances of the Thriller singles "The Girl Is Mine" and "Billie Jean", "Beat It" was released on February 14, 1983 as the album's third single. The song was promoted with a short film that featured Jackson bringing two gangs together through the power of dance. [endtext]

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/michael-jackson-and-princess-diana.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NOOjRZ1dXQendofvid [starttext] Writing this tribute was an extremely emotional journey for me. Alot of thinking, crying, soul searching and even research. I'm happy to say that after watching probably every interview that Michael Jackson ever gave I'm an extremely proud Michael Jackson fan.
It took me almost a month to be able to come to a place where I was able to articulate what I was feeling about his death and what I'd been trying to say since the moment I found out he passed away. In many respects this is what I have been trying to say since the day that Princess Diana passed away twelve years ago.
I'm happy to say that when it did finally come out it, it came in a very natural way. It was one of those moments in life where your brain is on autopilot and you simply write what is in your soul almost as if you are not in control of your own mind at that moment.
I hope people can understand that this is just what I feel and it is not my intention to offend anybody but simply share what this experience has taught me.
Thanks for watching :)
Love. [endtext]

[postlink]https://themichaeljacksontube.blogspot.com/2010/10/jam-live-dangerous-tour-mexico-1993-hd.html[/postlink]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmy8juS7a-8endofvid [starttext] This concert was shown in Mexico in late 1993, there were five shows, all at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, and surprisingly all five shows were sold out in this 100,000+ seat stadium, which is awesome and i believe it was an attendance record in Mexico.

However, Jackson is a little bit different in this concert then he was in Bucharest in 1992 on the first leg of the tour. Towards this point, this was right after child molestation charges were filed against him and it is quite obvious that he is much more stressed out and broken down then he was on the first leg of the tour.

The 1993 leg of the tour was a little different from 1992 because there were some changes made. The rising and lowering stage that was used for Thriller and the beginning of Billie Jean was taken out, mainly for time because the stage took forever to rise and lower. The song Dangerous was also added to the program.

His concerts in Mexico would ultimately be the last concerts for the tour because of Jackson slowly becoming ill and the child molestation charges growing.

The concerts were held in late October-early November of 1993. Very good concerts, in fact on Youtube you can find Jam and Smooth Criminal from those concerts.[endtext]

The Dangerous World Tour was the second worldwide concert tour by American superstar Michael Jackson as a solo artist, covering Europe, South America, Mexico and Asia from June 27, 1992 to November 11, 1993. The tour, sponsored by Pepsi-Cola, who also sponsored Jackson's previous tour, included 69 concerts to 3.5 million fans. The tour grossed up approximately $125 million and all profits were donated to various charities including the new Heal the World Foundation that was set up by Jackson.

During the tour's third leg in 1993, Jackson decided to end the tour due to, as he announced, illness which ultimately resulted in hospitalization. Jackson had become dependent on painkillers and suffered from dehydration, migraines, back aches, frequent ankle injuries and stress. [endtext]
